Giving Back
Giving Back at work
As a business, we prioritise various avenues to make positive contributions to society. This encompasses basic principles such as honesty and transparency, as well as promoting workplace equality and dismantling barriers like the glass ceiling. Additionally, we extend our support beyond environmental causes by collaborating with a diverse range of charities, including the British Heart Foundation and homeless charities.
Crucially, we don’t just talk the talk; we walk the walk.
- Nowhere is this more evident than in our senior leadership team, which stands as a prime example of diversity in action.
- We have structured pay bands to ensure that renumeration is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and individual contribution, rather than being influenced by unconscious bias.
- All members of staff receive excess free private healthcare – regardless of grade.
- We enforce the use of 2 CSR days per annum, which can be used for any charity, at the employee’s discretion.
- Flexible working is the norm – not an exception.
- All staff have a voice and can positively influence the strategic direction of the business. We encourage change!
We want to make a genuine difference and to do so we need the best people! Please reach out to our Senior Leadership Team if you are interested in becoming part of our exciting journey!
Environment
We exploit numerous avenues to ensure we are ‘Giving Back’. Our dedication demands close alignment with governmental environmental strategies and incorporating eco-friendly practices into our business model to foster a greener, more sustainable future. We take pride in maintaining carbon neutrality, while actively pursuing recognition as a carbon-zero organisation. Furthermore, we engage in partnerships with local and national charities, placing particular emphasis on global environmental and wildlife restoration initiatives.
Critically, multiple reports highlight that roughly half of the world’s non-renewable resources are utilised in construction, making it one of the least sustainable sectors worldwide. The construction industry is responsible for 23% of air pollution, 40% of drinking water pollution, and half of landfill waste.
As a construction consultancy, we acknowledge our significant role in driving industry-wide transformation and are continually developing our in-house expertise to deliver cutting-edge environmental solutions to clients in the real estate and infrastructure sectors, ensuring market leadership in environmental knowledge and services.
