Privacy and cookie policy
How we collect, use and look after the personal information you give us through this website, and the cookies it uses.
Last updated: 24 September 2026
Who we are
This website is run by Oxivity Consulting Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13521207). Our registered office is Grosvenor House, 11 St Pauls Square, Birmingham, B3 1RB.
We are the controller of the personal information you give us through this website. That means we decide how it is used and we are responsible for looking after it under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect and why
We only collect what you choose to give us through the forms on this site:
Contact form
What we collect: Your name, email address, and if you give them, your phone number, organisation and message.
Why: To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to discuss working together.
Project Health Check request
What we collect: Your name, organisation, email address, and if you give them, your job title, phone number, sector, a description of the challenge and a preferred time to talk.
Why: To arrange and carry out the health check you asked for, and to send you a confirmation email.
Cost comparison tool (PDF take-away)
What we collect: Your name, email address, organisation if you give it, and the figures you entered in the tool with the results it worked out.
Why: To send you the PDF and, because you agreed to it on the form, to contact you about it.
Careers (send us your CV)
What we collect: Your name, contact details, your message and your CV, including anything you choose to put in it.
Why: To consider you for current and future roles at Oxivity Consulting.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and in running our business, and, where you are asking about our services or applying to work with us, taking the steps you have asked for before any contract. Each form also asks your permission to contact you about that request. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list from these forms, and we never sell your information.
Please do not include sensitive information (for example about your health) in a message or CV unless you want us to take it into account.
Who we share it with
We use trusted suppliers to host this website, to receive and store form submissions in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, and to send and receive email. They handle your information only on our instructions. Some of them store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We may also share information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Oxivity Consulting, our clients or others.
How long we keep it
Enquiries, health check requests and cost tool requests: up to two years after we last heard from you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep project records for as long as our contracts and the law require.
CVs and job applications: up to twelve months from when we receive them, so we can consider you for roles that come up. If we employ you, your application becomes part of your employment record. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on your permission, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, get in touch using the details below. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not track you across other websites.
The only cookies set are ones the site needs to work: security cookies set by our hosting provider to protect the site from automated abuse, and cookies set by the careers form (which is provided by our CRM supplier) so the form, its file upload and its spam protection work. Because these are strictly necessary, they do not need your consent. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site, such as the careers form, may then not work.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google so the fonts can be delivered.
If we ever add analytics or other optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
